JUST BOOKED AUSTIN TO FT.LAUDERDALE

I just got the type of deal that makes me feel like I've accomplished something. I need to be in Miami next week for a meeting and all the flights from Austin go through other places such as Houston and San Fancisco? Why would I want to fly from Austin, to Miami via San Fran? Answer: Maybe if I worked for the airline or it was some other free ticket. This however was not the case now, so I searched and found a direct flight to Ft.Lauderdale on Jet Blue (gotta love the Tvs!) for 109.00! My theory is and has always been that; if you can fly a thousand miles in comfort and speed for 100.00 each way, you are doing pretty good in my book.  All in all the ticket was 119.00 with taxes and fees, but hey, gotta pay the piper at some point. For some flights I have found that the smaller airlines or sometimes newer ones have these great non-stops that keep the savings always non-stop in getting not only the lowest airfares today, but the lowest airfares everyday.
